Installation
Throughout my time at university my aim was to combine and contrast nature with man made elements with a contemporary twist. I enjoy experimenting with various surroundings by placing different objects into unnatural environments. Curiosity has played a massive part within my work, as I want to highlight and engage others curiosity and awareness to see how they react.

I found myself interested with the idea of recycling objects and using them within my work. On one of my many journeys home from university, I suddenly became aware of all the regeneration work taking place throughout Liverpool . The vast amount of rubble inspired me to bring bricks into my work.
I decided to create an artistic response to what I saw, one that is representative of Liverpool . I have created a well, an iconic object which people have been intrigued with for generations, believing that it can bring them fortune through making wishes. However, my installation has a playful and humorous edge to it.
